Cellacast® Soft
Where injuries require a functional but not a rigid immobilization Cellacast® Soft is our product of choice. Only a few layers will result in a cast that is semi-rigid and comfortable to wear.

Immobile yet in motion
Muscle atrophies and joint stiffness are among the negative effects of immobilization. Risks you can reduce with Cellacast® Soft. Cellacast® Soft maintains the function of muscles and tendons with a positive result on the healing process and subsequent rehabilitation.

Partial immobilization with Cellacast® Xtra splints
In combination with a Cellacast® Xtra splint the stability of Cellacast® Soft can be increased where required. The rigid splint will provide immobilization in those sections where movement must be completely prevented while the semi-rigid section allows controlled movement.

Comfortable for patients and users
Cellacast® Soft can be applied with little effort and directly onto the tg® soft tubular padding bandage. It can be perfectly moulded to body contours. The patient will hardly feel the new semi-rigid cast – thanks to the conformable and soft cast edges and the low weight. The hardened cast can be opened with scissors and cut to size as required.

Cellacast® Active
The appropriate cast for cases that require both immobilization and controlled movement. Cellacast® Active offers good mobility and partial im - mobilization at the same time.

As simple as plaster, as comfortable as cast
Cellacast® Active is fast and easy to apply. Owing to its thin carrier material Cellacast® Active conforms excellently to body contours – even to areas that are difficult to dress. tg® soft tubular padding bandage thereby serves both as a skin protection and a padding.

As flexible as possible, as stable as necessary
Stability and flexibility of the cast can be individually adjusted by the number of applied bandage turns. Fewer layers offer higher flexibility, more layers increase stability providing immobilisation were necessary. Depending on the number of layers Cellacast® Active can also be opened with cast scissors and cut to size.

Cast without fiberglass
Cellacast® Active consists of a polyester carrier material which is coated with polyurethane resin. 100% X-ray transparency allows shadowless X-raying and facilitates monitoring the healing process. The cast edges stay soft and flexible.

Cellacast® Xtra
Exceptionally thin, light and yet extremely stable – Cellacast® Xtra, the modern synthetic cast for safe stabilization.

Light yet stable
Cellacast® Xtra is suitable for indications that require high stability but a light cast, after fractures, operations or orthopaedic corrections. Only a few bandage turns are needed to achieve the required stability and high strength which make Cellacast® Xtra ideal for wear over longer periods of time.

Easy and fast to mould
Knitted fiberglass fabric with widthwise and diagonal stretch, impregnated with polyurethane resin, conforms to all body contours – also around joints. The material offers optimal adhesion of layers and is economical in use.

Cellacast® Xtra splint
Cellacast® Xtra is also available as unpadded pre-cuts for the reinforcement of circular casts and the application of splints. Cellacast® Active and Cellacast® Soft are among the materials which may be reinforced with Cellacast® Xtra splints.
